It’s been a busy year at the Agent Funk camp. We’ve had the pleasure to perform at some of the best wedding venues around Bristol. We recently performed at Charlotte & Joshua’s wedding at:
At Owlpen Manor, Uley, Dursley GL11 5BZ
Owlpen Manor is an exclusive and award-winning rustic wedding venue situated in a private Cotswold valley near Stroud and Tetbury.
We highly recommend this venue. If you ever want to find out more your can contact them at:
Venue Contact and number: 01453 860261
Venue Contact Email: sales@owlpen.com
As a tip, we recommend that you approach the estate through the village of Uley, on the B4066 between Dursley and Stroud. At Uley you turn off to Owlpen by the Old Crown pub on the village green. There is free parking on site. Follow signs for the Car Park.
Event Details:
Before every event we send an ‘Event Info Sheet’ to the client to make sure that we have all the information we’ll need for the day. For this event the couple requested that the evening reception starts at 8pm – arrival time to set up 7pm. Also, that the first live set is at 8-9pm and the second live set – 10-11pm.
DJ Music:
They requested that we play our own music playlist before, in between and after the live music sets. You can find the playlist here.
First Dance:
The couple requested that the band learn a bespoke first dance song from us; the Bristol band for hire:
Live The Long and Winding Road – The Beatles (Take 19 is our favourite version)
A fantastic choice and a joy to perform!
Daytime Music Option:
Charlotte & Joshua decided to book a daytime option too; opting for the acoustic Duo. You can find out more about the different band options and add ons we offer here.
The couple were extremely generous with supplying food for the Bristol function band. It included:
